The Tantra Ceremony

I’m blindfold at a Tantra ceremony on Sunday night.

There’s over a hundred of us in the room & the men are walking around the unseeing women giving us compliments.

There were a couple of comments on my curly hair & silky dress but you know what most of the men said?

”I see your courage & power”, “I love your commitment to the spiritual path”, “Your shakti’s so strong, it lights up everything around you.”

It felt amazing to be acknowledged for my strength. Because you know what?

I am strong. Like, really fkg strong. (Biceps aside)

I'm strong because I learned how to transmute my past.

I drank tea with the demons of my teenage years.

Went scuba diving with ghouls through childhood shipwrecks.

Snuggled the bejeezus out of the part of me which said “No one’s ever gonna love you.”

And by learning how to listen to these parts of myself (which are actually just trying to keep me safe) by befriending them, they’re now a part of my team. Rather than working against me. They work FOR me, cheer me on, give me high-fives, stand up for me.

Alchemizing the past is the most powerful work we can do.

In another post, I’ll go into all the benefits of releasing our past.

But the MOST IMPORTANT thing for you to know is…

It IS possible for you to completely overcome the shit that’s happened to you. To dive deep into the shadows of your past & surface with handfuls of gold.

Our past is there, waiting to be alchemised.

Drop a if you agree. And if you're feeling brave, lmk what gold you've discovered while alchemising your own past (trust me, it'll inspire others!).
